Mavro Diamanti

Mavro Diamanti is a Guinean film and television writer and producer. Mavro currently serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Steal The Sun Studios where he develops and produces all of the studio’s major television shows and films.

Diamanti is currently executive producing a five part series with Wayfarer Studios.

His notable film and TV credits include writer on Tyler Perry’s hit sitcom, House of Payne on BET, Co-writer on Perception, a stunning short film centered on generation racism which premiered at Atlanta Underground Film Festival, producer on Chains, a short film surrounding urban poverty and selected for Peachtree International Film Festival, and Executive Producer for On Trees, a thrilling short film about suicide prevention, which premiered at Academy Award Qualifying, Bronzelens Film Festival.

Diamanti received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he studied political science with a minor in theater. Diamanti later received an M.F.A in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Mavro also serves as a Brand Ambassador for Morehouse College Human Rights Film Festival where he assists in industry events, creative workshops, and bridging the gap for minorities interested in pursuing careers in Film and TV. Committed to helping the next generation of filmmakers, Diamanti established the Dare To Dream scholarship fund, which aims to assist urban youth in continuing their education.
